A tourist packet sold for the days of Sat May 28th and Sun May 29th will include:

1) Guided tours to the historic Palazzo Nuzzi, the historic center of Orte and the Contrada (neighborhood) of San Sebastiano;

2) Lunch in the Contrada's community kitchen;

3) Visit to underground Orte and the Etruscan passageway, the columbary and the snow well. Tickets: 22 Euro

Caprarola: 

Like many other museums and sites in Italy and Europe, the Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola (Viterbo) is also going to be open, with free admission, tonight (May 14-15) from 8:00PM to 2:00AM for the "The Night of the Museums" events. Concert at 9:00PM and underground tour of the palace at 10:00PM.

A seguire degustazione di prodotti tipici locali. La serata sarà animata dai figuranti del corteo storico di Caprarola.
Dalle ore 22.00: apertura straordinaria dei sotterranei del palazzo

A New Colosseum

Beginning with October 18th visiting the Colosseum will be a whole new experience.

For the first time in 40 years it will be possible to visit the underground, with the cells where the animals and gladiators were held and an underground river.

The visitors will also be able to climb the stairs all the way up to the third order of arches, with spectacular views over the amphitheater and the city.
